How often should air ducts be cleaned?

What our air duct cleaning process looks like
We start by photographing inside your main trunk so you can see what we are dealing with. The negative-air machine is connected to the supply and return trunks near the furnace and pulls the whole system under vacuum. Working from the farthest register back, we agitate each run with compressed-air whips and brushes so the debris is pushed toward the vacuum. Then we clean the trunks, plenums, blower and coil, seal every access point, install a fresh filter, and photograph the same spots again.
